Cabeça da Cabra
This year, I took some days off just for myself: I was looking for some quality me-time and tranquility. I knew from the beginning that I would find that at Costa Vicentina in Alentejo. I stumbled over Cabeça Da Cabra on Instagram ( thank you Filipe Lucas Frazão) and booked two nights. I absolutely enjoyed every second at this quiet place near Porto Covo, Alentejo.
Maria, the owner, is very kind and just makes you feel like at home. The building of Cabeça Da Cabra used to be an old school. It was abandoned for some time. Maria lives there too and will help you out with everything possible. She has a good friend that will go surfing with you and there is a Yoga place just 15 min away (by car). I specially enjoyed the evenings outside my room reading a book and the walks outside in the area (the Historical Trail from Rota Vicentina just passes by Cabeça Da Cabra). Oh, and I almost forgot, the breakfast is amazing! Thank you Maria for making my stay such a special and restorative one.
See you soon, ate breve!

Light and pure: it's the perfect place to disconnect from the world and be by yourself or with the ones you love.
